How to Post
Say hello when you come into
the room and wait for a response from a moderator. Do
not try to push your way into a conversation about value or be
rude in any way.
If a mod asks you to please
wait quietly, then do-so. You will be called upon when
it is your turn.
If a moderator is not
online, or people are chatting about domain name values,
please feel free to join the conversation and ask fellow
domainers for an appraisal of your domain names. Or
appraise domain names for other domainers.
Always be honest and polite
when giving and receiving free appraisals.
When giving appraisals do
not lie about your expertise or knowledge. If you are
unsure about your appraisal let it be known that a second or
third opinion is recommended.
If a moderator thinks that you
are disrupting the free appraisal process, they can and will
temporarily ban you from the chat room.
What to Post
Domainers can post domains
that they own for free appraisals by expert NameChatter
appraisal mods and fellow domainers.
You must
be the owner of the domain name that you are having appraised.
If you want a name that you are considering buying to be
appraised you must PM a moderator for further assistance.
Depending
on how busy the room is when you are visiting, you are allowed
from 1 to 4 free appraisals per day.
What NOT to Post
Do not post domain names for
appraisal that contain any adult, controversial or offensive
words.
This is not a place for
general discussion. Please chat on the main board for
general domain name
discussions.
